The next instalment of Krembil is hot off the press! In the final issue of the 2017 three-part series, talented Arthritis Program scientists at the Krembil Research Institute take you inside their labs and clinics to share their relentless pursuit of cures for diseases of the bones and joints.
This issue, developed in partnership with the Globe and Mail and distributed to subscribers across Canada on September 7, focuses on groundbreaking research related to:

“There’s no cure for osteoarthritis,” explains Dr. Mohit Kapoor, senior scientist and Research Director of the Arthritis Research Group at the Krembil Research Institute, who is featured on the cover of the magazine. “As of today, there are no approved drugs in the world that can stop this disease from progressing.”
But Dr. Kapoor’s discovery of two biomarkers last year could be a big game changer: he and his team are now working on a diagnostic blood test as well as a treatment.
Dr. Nizar Mahomed, Medical Director of the Arthritis Program, is confident in his team’s quest for a cure.
