Whether it’s a nurse who held your loved one’s hand or a porter who went above and beyond, the staff at UHN strive to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Since 2008, UHN Foundation’s Honour Your Hero program has enabled patients and their loved ones to demonstrate their gratitude for staff who embody compassion and kindness – while also making an impactful gift to support the highest priority needs of UHN. Honourees receive a personalized certificate with a message from the donor along with a special pin to commemorate their first honour, and then at recognition milestones 10, 20, 50 and 100.
