With donor support, we can ensure our hospitals have what they need to continue to battle the pandemic while providing world-class care for patients in need.  

Supporting frontline workers is of utmost importance for UHN. Throughout this wave of the Omicron variant, UHN saw a massive rise in cases with many healthcare workers affected. To help, we are providing hotel stays for frontline staff so that they can rest and recharge while keeping their loved ones safe. We’re also providing meal vouchers to all frontline staff working for UHN, ensuring they can care for themselves while caring for others. 

As Canada’s number-one research hospital, our world-class teams are conducting COVID-19 research that will help inform treatment and protective measures for both patients and healthcare workers – with the goal of enhancing safety and improving outcomes for all.
