10 ways to keep your heart healthy

To wrap up Heart Month we’ve teamed up with GoodLife Fitness and Dr. Paul Oh of the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre to bring you some tips on how to keep heart healthy all year round.

“Our research shows that people living with heart disease who exercise regularly have a 50 per cent lower chance of dying than those who don’t,” says Dr. Oh, GoodLife Fitness Chair in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Prevention and Medical Director of the Cardiac Rehab Program. That’s why he’s on a mission to help people with heart disease improve their health by making simple lifestyle changes.
