I was born and raised in: Toronto, ON
I decided to get into health care because I was always interested in health and wellness. I started with Kinesiology and become more interested in working with patient populations.
My role here at UHN is to ensure gait and posture research is conducted at the highest level.
The thing I love the most about my job is the new challenges posed in movement disorders and opportunities to collaborate with many fantastic colleagues on different projects.
I’m inspired by how our research has a hand in improving the patients’ quality of life.
My personal heroes are my parents because I’m able to do what I do because of them and their example.
I sometimes worry about being too absorbed in the research to fully appreciate its benefits.
I’ve found joy recently from a novel research idea generated with colleagues coming to fruition.
My favourite movie is the Lord of the Rings (trilogy) because the idea of wisdom and collaboration gained along a journey.
My ideal day off is getting outdoors when the weather is nice and catching up with my hobbies.
