Over the weekend, UHN Foundation hosted a sold-out crowd of supporters, philanthropists, community leaders, dignitaries, celebrities and more for its inaugural A Night Out for UHN, presented by Sprott Inc., at The Ritz-Carlton Toronto. Co-chaired by UHN Foundation Board Member Kevin Hibbert and Ann-Marie Hibbert, the gala was a renowned success, surpassing its fundraising goal and raising over $2.3 million in support of University Health Network (UHN), Canada’s #1 hospital.
Over 400 guests were treated to an elegant fine dining experience, followed by a live performance from Grammy and JUNO-Award nominated artist Mark Masri, along with JUNO-Award nominated Patricia Shirley. Guests also experienced an inspired aerialist performance by Maya Auchincloss, a UHN patient who shared her care journey after receiving mental health and chronic pain care at UHN.

Also in attendance, Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow remarked: “Tonight reflects what is possible when community, philanthropy and world-class health care come together. Partnerships like those between the City of Toronto and UHN are making a difference in our community, and the leadership and innovation celebrated here are helping to build a healthier, more caring Toronto.”
