To everyone in the University Health Network

So far I have been one of the fortunate ones to not be stricken with this virus…

Even so I want all of you to know that you are genuinely appreciated for the dedication and sacrifice you are making on behalf of us all…

My grandmother who was one of the first women physicians graduating from the Ontario Medical College for Women in the 1880’s; my father who was an F.A.C.S and F.R.C.S graduate of University of Toronto Medical School, one time President of the Ontario Medical Association and Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons and Coroner for Northern Ontario; and my mother who was a Registered Private Duty Nurse from Toronto Sick Kids Hospital would have been even more proud of and grateful to all of you than I could ever think of being. I know they are looking down upon everyone in your profession and smiling..

God bless each and every one of you
