Little did I know that after being born at Toronto General Hospital I was destined to have a history with it.
I was born in TGH 69 years ago this May.
I had my robotic arm assisted laparoscopic cancer surgery there.
My beloved husband passed away there, after incredible second to none care from his Cardiac Team of Doctors, nurses and all staff.
I then decided I wanted to “give back” to TGH by volunteering–as a thank you to it for all the care my husband and I have received over the years.
I can never thank TGH enough for their dedication, and commitment to excellent medical care.
