A huge thank you to the entire Emergency Health Care Team at Toronto Western Hospital. On Saturday November 14th I took my special needs sister to Emergency as she had a fractured humerus. Being severely disabled Sandra doesn’t speak, is deaf, requires total care for daily activities and personal needs. Everyone from the security guard, to the registration staff, to the nurses, technicians and doctors were caring, attentive, understanding and made us feel very safe. A special shout out to Dr David, Nurses Melissa and Sarah, x-ray technicians Charmaine-2 and the two lovely gentlemen that patiently took the X-rays …you are truly making a difference and we are very appreciative of all that you do. I can only imagine all of the difficulty situations that you face on a daily basis….please know that you are appreciated. Thank you and the best for all of you! 🙏💕
